No Matter How Bad This Credit Crunch Gets…?

I could never ever ever abandon my animals…. I was just on the RSPCA website, and it showed a picture of a hamster which looked like it had been rescued from a bin for dog waste, a bag full of bearded dragons, and a dog left in a cardboard box. I think there are two kinds of pet owners out there…

1. The ones that get a pet and embrace it as one of the family.

2. The ones that get a pet for the “cool accessory” aspect.

I reckon its the second type that are the ones who get rid of their animals. Its the particularly moronic ones that do it by sticking them in a bag and putting them out with the rubbish.

The pet owners who consider their pets as family members wouldnt get rid of their pets unless it was absolutely the last resort, and even at that, I am sure they would take the care to try and find a new home or somethign for them.

On a personal note… I lost my job not too long ago and I am now on job seekers allowance (which aint much!), money is very tight, but by pulling in the purse strings a bit and makeing do without a few other things, I have managed to keep things relatively normal.

At no point did getting rid of my dogs enter into my mind… They will be with me until the natural course of things comes to an end.
