Im getting a kitten. What’s the best breed that doesnt scratch/bite you when you try to pet it and pick it up?
My family loves ginger cats. We live in Melbourne, Australia so does anyone know where we can get kittens from?
We’ve decided that we’re not buying a cat from a pet shop (only from places like the RSPCA) and it doesn’t have to be a pedigree or anything.
Anyone know any good sites that I could look at that has pictures of them?

I am so sorry about Desi! I understand how hard it can be losing a loved one, I’m sure that Desi’s in Heaven. ^-^
My cat is a tabby and so affectionate. She can be very calm or go crazy, but she never scratches or bites me. Tabbys have been known to get very attached, so if you’re looking for a cat to always be by your side and be very loyal, I would recommend a tabby. Most kittens bite or scratch when they are younger, but it usually doesn’t hurt that much. They need love and training just like puppies do.
